Trade: Phoenix receives Olli Jokinen from Florida for Keith Ballard, Nick Boyton, and the 49th pick
Trade: Toronto receives the 5th pick from the NY Islanders for the 7th pick, #68 and a 2009 2nd round pick.
Trade: Columbus receives R.J. Umberger and the 118 pick from Philadelphia for the 19th and the 67th pick)

#9 - Nashville receives a 2008 1st Round Pick and 2007 2nd Round Pick (#58 Nick Spaling) from Florida for Tomas Vokoun
#12 - Anaheim receives a 2008 1st Round Pick, 2008 2nd Round Pick, and a 2008 3rd Round Pick from Oilers as compensation for signing restricted free agent Dustin Penner
#19 - Columbus receives a 2008 1st Round Pick (since Colorado made the playoffs) and a conditional 4th Round Pick from the Colorado Avalanche for Adam Foote
