The draft order is based off of odds to win the 2027 Stanley Cup from Bet365, as of July 21st.

Players born between January 1, 2007, and September 15, 2009 are eligible for selection in the 2027 NHL Entry Draft. This class is already drawing attention for its depth, particularly among centers and two-way defensemen.

Defenseman Landon DuPont is the early favorite to be the No. 1 pick, followed by big forwards Alexis Joseph and Nazar Privalov.

    2027 NHL Draft Notes

    # 19 - The Philadelphia Flyers receive the Toronto Maple Leafs 2027 1st round pick (if Toronto's pick is inside the top 10, Toronto decides to either send the pick to Philadelphia or Boston. The team not receiving the 2027 1st would then get Toronto's 2028 1st) and Nikita Grebenkin for Scott Laughton ($1.5 million retained), 2025 4th round pick, and a 2027 6th round pick.

    # 27 - The Seattle Kraken receive the Tampa Bay Lightning's 2027 1st round pick (top 10 protected in 2027, unprotected in 2028), 2026 1st round pick, Toronto's 2025 2nd round pick, and Mikey Eyssimont for Oliver Bjorkstrand, Yanni Gourde, Kyle Aucoin, and a 2026 5th round pick.

    # 28 - The New Jersey Devils receive the Vegas Golden Knights 2027 1st round pick (via CGY - top 10 protected in 2027), 2028 1st round pick (via COL - top 10 protected in 2028), 2026 2nd round pick (via NYR) and Etienne Morin from the Calgary Flames for Simon Nemec and Maxim Tsyplakov. The Flames received the Golden Knights 2027 1st round pick, a 2028 2nd round pick, Zach Whitecloud and Abram Wiebe for Rasmus Andersson.

    # 29 - The Chicago Blackhawks receive the Edmonton Oilers 2027 1st round pick (top 10 protected in 2027, unprotected in 2028 unless the Oilers trade their 2028 1st round pick before the 2028 NHL trade deadline, then the 2027 1st round pick becomes unprotected) and Andrew Mangiapane for Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach.

    # 31 - The Toronto Maple Leafs receive the Colorado Avalanche's 2027 first-round pick (top 10 protected in 2027, unprotected in 2028) and a conditional 2026 5th round pick (# 157 - Cooper Williams) for Nicolas Roy.

    # 32 - The Chicago Blackhawks receive the Florida Panthers 2027 1st round pick and Spencer Knight for Seth Jones and a 2026 4th round pick.
