Our 2022 NHL Mock Draft

Team needs and tendencies have been loosley been taken into consideration.

The draft order is based after NHL draft lottery and heading into the Conferenace Finals. The Canadiens won the lottery and will select No. 1. The New Jersey Devils move up from No. 5 to No.2.

The NHL draft will be held in Montreal on July 7th and 8th and will done live for the first time since 2019.

    Pre-draft First Round Traded Picks

    # 6 - The Columbus Blue Jackets receive the Chicago Blackhawks 2022 1st round pick (top 2 protected in '22 and unprotected in '23), 2021 1st round pick (# 11 Cole Sillinger), 2021 2nd round pick (#43 Aleksi Heimosalmi) and Adam Boqvist for Seth Jones, 2021 1st round pick (# 31 Nolan Allan), and a 2022 6th round pick.

    # 7 - The Chicago Blackhawks receive the Ottawa Senators 1st and 2nd (# 39) round picks, and a 2023 3rd round pick for Alex DeBrincat.

    # 16 - The Buffalo Sabres receive the Vegas Golden Knights 2022 1st round pick (top 10 protected), Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs and a 2023 3rd round pick for Jack Eichel and a 2023 3rd round pick.

    # 19 - The Minnesota Wild receive the Los Angeles Kings 2022 1st round pick and Brock Faber for Kevin Fiala.

    # 22 - The Anaheim Ducks receive the Boston Bruins 2022 1st round pick, 2023 and 2024 2nd round picks, John Moore and Urho Vaakanainen for Hampus Lindholm (50% salary retained) and Kodie Curran.
