    2018 NHL Draft Notes

    1st Round Traded Draft Picks

    ** -Colorado receives Ottawa's 2018 1st round pick (Top 10 protect in 2018 - unprotected in 2019), 2019 3rd round pick, Nashville's 2018 2nd round pick, Sam Girard, Vladislav Kamenev, Andrew Hammond, Shane Bowers in a three-team deal. The Senators received Matt Duchene and the Predators received Kyle Turris.

    # 12 - New York Islanders receive Calgary's 2018 1st and 2nd round pick, and a 2019 or 2020 2nd round pick for Travis Hamonic and a 2019 or 2020 fourth round pick.

    # 14 -Philadelphia receives St. Louis' 2018 1st round pick (conditional - if in the top 10, the Blues have the option to defer to 2019), a 2017 1st round pick (# 27 Morgan Frost) and Jori Lehtera for Brayden Schenn.

    # 22 - Ottawa recieves Pittsburgh's 2018 1st round pick as part of the three-team trade with Vegas for Derick Brassard.

    # 27 - Detroit receives Vegas' 2018 1st round pick, 2019 2nd round pick, and a 2020 3rd round pick for forward Tomas Tatar.

    # 28 -New York Rangers receive Boston's 2018 1st round pick, 2019 7th round pick, Ryan Spooner, Matt Beleskey, Ryan Lindgren and retaining 50% of Nash's salary for Rick Nash and retaining 50% of Beleskey's salary.

    # 29 -New York Rangers receive Tampa Bay Lightning's 2018 1st round picks, conditional 2019 2nd round pick (1st round pick if they win the Stanley Cup this year or next), Vladislav Namestnikov, Libor Hajek, and Brett Howden for Ryan McDonagh and J.T. Miller.

    # 30 -St. Louis receives Winnipeg's 2018 1st round pick (top 3 protected), 2020 conditional 4th, Eric Foley and retaining 50 percent of Stastny's salary for Paul Stastny.

    # 31 - Chicago recieves Nashville's 2018 1st and 4th round pick, and Victor Edjsell for Ryan Hartman and a 2018 5th.
