2025 NHL Draft Order - Round 6


The 2025 NHL Draft is set to take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, marking the first time since 2010 that the city will host the event. This year’s draft introduces a new decentralized format, with teams making their selections from their own facilities rather than from the draft floor. Top prospects and league officials gather at the venue.

The first round will be held on June 27 at 7 p.m. ET, broadcast on ESPN, ESPN+, SN, and TVAS. Rounds two through seven will follow on June 28, beginning at noon ET and airing on NHL Network. 224 players in total will be drafted.

The New York Islanders hold the first overall pick after winning the draft lottery, moving up from No. 12. The Utah Mammoth also did well, moving from No. 14 to No. 4. Will defenseman Matthew Schaefer go No. 1 or will the the Islanders go with Michael Misa or another forward?
