Nashville Predators Top Prospects

A look at the Nashville Predators top prospects heading into the 2015-16 season. The write ups for the Predators prospects are from mid-season, updating the progress of some of the Predators top prospects.

Kevin Fiala: Left Wing – 5'10" / 195
Drafted: 11th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2014

Kevin Fiala has been excellent since joining the Milwaukee Admirals mid season last year.

In 67 games since, he has scored 17 times and recorded 41 points. Those numbers won't ‘wow' you but they're awfully impressive for an 18/19 year old that is adjusting to professional hockey in North America.

Fiala has an exceptional shot, excellent puck skills, and is one of the most talented prospects in all of hockey.

It won't be long before he's a full timer in Nashville.

Jimmy Vesey: Left Wing – 6'1" / 195
Drafted: 66th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2012

Vesey has quickly emerged as one of the best goal scoring prospects in all of hockey.

Since the beginning of the 2014-15 season Vesey has scored 42 goals and tallied 81 points in 51 games with Harvard.

He remains unsigned – he's stressed he'd like to finish his degree at Harvard before turning pro – but there's talk he could join the Predators' for the home stretch once his season at Harvard is finished.

Vladislav Kamenev: Left Wing – 6'2" / 195
Drafted: 42nd overall by the Nashville Predators in 2014

Kamenev, like Fiala, is another underage player enjoying success at the AHL level.

Kamenev has put up six goals and 14 points in 24 games with the Admirals to date. They allowed him to leave and play for Russia at the World Junior tournament and he was impressive there, too, tallying five goals and six points in seven games.

He is still adjusting to the pro game, and is not yet ready for the big time, but he has all the tools necessary to be a very good NHL player in due time.
