Chicago Blackhawks Top Prospects

Artemi Panarin: Left Wing - 5'11" / 170 lbs
Undrafted
No one expected Artemi Panarin to be this good, this quick. Panarin burst on to the scene this season after signing with the Blackhawks as a free agent after leaving the KHL at the end of the 2014-15 season. He has emerged as an early Calder Trophy candidate after posting 43 points (16 goals, 27 assists) in 48 games.
He is a gifted winger with great on-ice vision and creative playmaker abilities that go well with fellow linemates Artem Anisimov and Patrick Kane. Panarin should continue to grow in to a talented left winger as he begins to reach his prime and become a vital part of the Chicago franchise.
Tuevo Teravainen: Center - 5'11" / 178 lbs
Drafted: 18th overall to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2012
Teravainen has become an everyday player for Chicago this season after spending time going back and forth between Rockford and Chicago over the course of the 2014-15 season. He's posted a modest 21 points (9 goals, 12 assists) in 44 games this season, spending time between center and right wing on the third line.
Teravainen is a decent sized center that doesn't spend time in front of the net, but rather beating opponents with his playmaking abilities from the side boards. Teravainen, 21, is still young and will developed into a projected second line center.
Ryan Hartman: Right Wing 5'11" / 180 lbs
Drafted: 30th overall to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013
Hartman is a gritty, small winger that reminds many of another Blackhawks player: Andrew Shaw. Both players play a similar style although Shaw is a bit more of an agitator. Hartman has yet to become a regular in the NHL, only playing in 8 career games, and currently plays for the Rockford IceHogs.
In 33 games this season, he's posted 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists). Expect Hartman to spend the remainder of this season developing in Rockford and then slotting in as a third or fourth line winger with Chicago by the 2016-17 season.
