Aleks Kulemin's Player Profile

Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - Nov. 4th: "Kulemin is the son of former NHL forward Nikolai Kulemin. He’s being used in all situations in Kingston and approaches the game with a calculating level of responsibility. Kulemin uses his size and strength to his advantage in the trenches and capitalizes on his offensive opportunities."

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - Nov. 3rd: "His playmaking isn’t as strong as his pure individual skill, but he makes enough plays to potentially score at the next level. For his size it would be ideal if he played with more physical edge. He projects as a third-line center."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - Oct. 29th: "He's strong on pucks, well-rounded and a go-to player in all situations, including as a bit of a D-zone specialist for the Frontenacs. He's not ultra-talented, but he has some pro details and tools, shows good poise and can play in important moments. He reminds me a little of Alexander Command, who rose in the 2026 draft to get picked 12th."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - Oct. 9th: "He plays with so much power and gives opponents little room to work with in individual battles. Kulemin possesses good work habits, which are traits you’d hope to see from someone with NHL bloodlines (his father, Nikolai, played 669 games)."
