Adam Kimelman - NHL.com - June 8th: "His skating is good for his size, and he certainly knows how to use his big frame in board battles and to protect the puck. Rogowski, who turns 18 on June 24, is committed to play at Michigan State, which showed last season with Martone they know how to help power forwards develop their game. "

Mike G. Morreale - NHL.com - June 8th: "The right-shot center uses his impressive size and reach to his advantage, making him difficult to defend down low and tough to handle around the net. He's capable of playing in all situations, rarely loses puck battles, and shows intriguing upside with further development, something that should advance when he joins Michigan State next season."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - June 3rd: "Rogowski does get low into an active base in his stride for his size. He does read and anticipate play well defensively. He will make little plays around the net. I've seen him play a lot in the OHL and internationally (including most recently at U18s, where he was just OK but also apparently dealing with a wrist injury), and I fit more into the latter camp, though the tools obviously make him interesting."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - March 17th: "Some see a 6-foot-7 center with good hands and skating who is playing big minutes for the Gens as a go-to player this season on both their power play (where he has the dexterity and soft skill to play the net-front and get sticks on tips and rebounds) and their penalty kill. Others see a big player who doesn't involve himself or impose himself nearly enough for their liking and are turned off by his lack of intensity — a concern many also had with Bruins first-rounder Dean Letourneau, who has now figured it out, but Letourneau had even more skill/finesse/athleticism at the same age."

Smaht Scouting - February 27th: "He isn’t a burner, but he gets where he needs to go, plays through contact, and makes enough plays to keep possessions alive. Compared to some of the other big forwards in this range, he stands out for combining size, puck skill, and awareness, but I am worried that he may fade into the background offensively as he moves up in leagues as he develops."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - February 25th: "For the most part, he plays a simple, straight line game. He will go to the net, win board battles and generally compete consistently. He could stand to be harder on pucks and on his skates. A more bullish approach where he strikes fear in opponents is an element that also needs to develop. No doubt, the club that takes him will have to be patient."
