Jack Nesbitt's Player Profile

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - June 10th: "He can beat players one-on-one at a high rate off the rush and shows a lot of offensive creativity inside the offensive zone. He's smart and makes a lot of intelligent plays, showing the vision to score in the NHL."

Adam Kimelman - NHL.com - June 9th: "Nesbitt fills a need as a center with size (6-4, 185), and he showed this season he could use that size and skating to stand out on a strong Windsor team, finishing with 64 points (25 goals, 39 assists) in 65 games. He plays a smart 200-foot game to go along with his strong offensive skill set."

Mike Morreale - NHL.com - June 9th: "He plays physical and offers plenty of playmaking and hockey sense. He was fifth in scoring for Windsor and contributed on the power play (six power-play goals) and penalty kill (two short-handed goals). He also won 51.4 percent of his face-offs."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - June 2nd: "He’s a big, tall, strong center who looks like a man and yet still has room to get stronger. He’s also strong in the faceoff circle, reliable on and off the puck, with some of the complementary skills you look for in a bigger pivot, including good hands in tight and on tips and a willingness to battle, go to the net and then release into the corners to get pucks back and go to work on the cycle."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - May 27th: "He’s a big, 6-foot-4 center – teams typically like that. I wish he had more top speed, but I think Nesbitt has a solid ceiling. He showed how good he could be around the net during the U-18s, creating havoc and pushing guys around while jumping in on rebounds."

Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - March 26th: "Carbonneau never gives up on a play. He works to extend zone time and has a very quick stick. He strips opponents of the puck and makes plays before defenders have an opportunity to react."

Smaht Scouting - March 23rd: "If you were to rank this draft just on raw skill and pure fun factor Carbonneau would easily be a top 10 pick at the very least. At least once a game, Carbonneau will have a really eye-popping, high-end moment, but then he’ll disappear for long stretches at a time."
