He is great at second-effort saves and never gives up on a play. His reads aren't as good as his quickness, but he does make a lot of smart decisions."

Adam Kimelman - NHL.com - June 9th: "Ivankovic (5-11, 178) doesn't have the typical NHL size for the position, but he's won everywhere he's gone, including a gold medal for Canada at the 2025 IIHF World Under-18s Championship when he was 6-0-0 with a 1.05 GAA, .961 save percentage and two shutouts in six games and was voted the tournament's best goalie."

But he’s also ultra-competitive, mobile and athletic, fighting for pucks in the crease and regularly getting to pucks he shouldn’t."
