Cole Reschny's Player Profile

Hannah Stuart - Bleacher Report - January 20th: "The way he can read the play and take advantage of the tiniest opportunity or misstep by an opponent is one of his biggest strengths and something that will benefit him greatly if he can translate it to the next level. He plays with a great pace and work ethic, though we'd like to see him take over and control the game more."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - January 16th: "He has always been a decent goal-scorer at every level, but he has found a way to put more muscle behind his shot while being better defensively, too. His skating is still a work in progress – he’s not particularly quick and can be beaten by mid-range skaters – but his play with the puck has been incredible this year."

Tony Ferrari - The Hockey News - Dec. 17th: "He is a silky smooth passer. He’s got a snappy wrister that pops off his stick at times. And he shows intuitive off-puck play as well. He’s a sneaky puck hound who pickpockets opponents as they try to break the puck out of their zone or up ice."

Smaht Scouting - Dec. 10th: "He’s a smart, detailed player with quick processing decisions and who is driving results without a top-tier cast of linemates. He doesn’t pop off the screen with pace or skill, but focus in on him for a game and you’ll see all the little things he does to drive positive results for Victoria."

Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - Dec. 3rd: "Reschny is an active player who generally works hard in all three zones. He can be deployed in a variety of roles, but leans offence more than checking forward overall. Reschny is usually involved in traffic."
