Terik Parascak's Player Profile

Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - June 11th: "Parascak isn’t a burner in open ice, but he sees the ice and makes plays. He complements faster linemates with his approach. His hockey sense in the offensive zone is an element that stands out above some of his peers."

Adam Kimelman - NHL.com - June 11th: "Parascak's hockey sense is his best attribute and a big reason he was able to lead WHL rookies with 105 points (43 goals, 62 assists) in 68 games despite not having not having overwhelming size (6-1, 179) or speed. He's fearless in traffic and was able to produce from the slot."

Mike Morreale - NHL.com - June 11th: "He really opened eyes this season to become a blue-chip prospect, contributing on the power play and penalty kill because of his speed, vision, and intelligence on the ice. He led WHL rookies with 43 goals and four short-handed goals and tied for the lead with 12 power-play goals in 68 games."

Chris Peters - Flo Hockey - June 3rd: "Parascak thinks the game at a high level and that likely played a big role in his transition this season. He has excellent hands with one-on-one skills and the ability to create time and space. As an average-sized player with so-so skating ability, Parascak will have some work to do to make it as a top-six forward in the NHL, but the trajectory he is on now is especially intriguing."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - June 3: "Hemming has clear tools as a 6-foot-1, 200-ish-pound winger with real individual skill as both a handler and a shooter and good skating. His fitness has at times been a question (sounds like he’s the kind of player who adds weight more easily than others, so he has to watch his nutrition carefully) but he’s a very strong kid who looks like a pro athlete already and actually performed well in the endurance testing at the combine."

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - May 28th: "The big issue in his NHL projection is his skating. He has a heavy stride that lacks any kind of NHL footspeed. He's overperformed a lot to date and while he doesn't fit the athletic profile, his hockey sense is so good he could potentially be a middle-six wing."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - May 28th: "Some scouts are worried his game isn’t rounded enough and that playing on an offensively dominant team has helped him significantly, but he’s a first-round candidate that, with the right system around him, could make him a top-six scorer sooner rather than later."

Hadi Kalakeche - Dobber Prospects - Apr. 20th: "The top-line upside with Parascak is slim but not absent — especially if a team with a track record of improving skating mechanics gets a hold of him. More likely than not, however, we’re looking at a middle-six cycle offense and penalty-killing specialist — a forward who can defend, can score dirty goals but can also surprise opponents with the occasional pinpoint pass through the smallest seam."

Central Scouting - Apr. 16th: "One of those players with that innate ability to go to where the puck will be and always has an option in all zones. He is composed under pressure, connects with tape-to-tape passes and has shown a consistent finishing ability."
