Sacha Boisvert's Player Profile

Rachel Doerrie - ESPN - April 2nd: "The 6-2 center is over a point per game in the USHL and is headed for North Dakota next season. He needs to fill out his frame to take advantage of his size, but he has a pro shot and above-average skating."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - March 25th: "Add in some competitiveness and a two-way commitment and there’s a lot to like. He’s got to put some more weight on and improve in the faceoff circle (which will come with more strength) but there’s a projectable game there with the right development/refinement and I’m confident the staff at North Dakota will do a good job with him."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - March 13th: "Will have to fill out and improve his play away from the puck, but when he has it in the offensive zone, he’s a threat to strike from anywhere."

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - March 12th: "I don't love his playmaking as he's certainly more of a shoot-first type of player but he can make tough plays. His compete is fine. He's not going to be known for that aspect of his game but he wins enough battles and uses his size."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - March 9th: "Boisvert has put up some great numbers all season long, but his backchecking efforts, speed and hockey IQ help define him well beyond his offensive capabilities."

Peter Baracchini - The Hockey Writers - March 7th: "He has the vision to constantly attack the middle of the ice for quality and dangerous chances. He also possesses great control in tight spaces and quick hands to pull moves off effectively."

Mike Morreale - NHL.com - March 1st: "Big, strong, and ultra-competitive, Boisvert (6-2, 178) was born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, and is expected to further his development at the University of North Dakota next season, where he would become the first Quebec-born player with the program."

Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - February 27th: "He definitely leans shooter/goal scorer more than play driver, but his skating has improved to the point where he’s more of a threat off the rush. Boisvert is very difficult to defend in small areas. He’s crafty escaping his check and taking the play to the net."
