Dean Letourneau's Player Profile

Rachel Doerrie - ESPN - April 2nd: "Letourneau uses his size to overpower players at this level, and some players don't even bother engaging with him. He's raw in the sense that he doesn't quite understand how to effectively use his physical package, but with an upcoming campaign in the USHL before heading to Boston College, Letourneau has a chance to be a true unicorn at the NHL level."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - March 25th: "He's got some vision, handling and a natural shot. I don't love how passive he can be without the puck, though. There's too much standing around and too much time spent with one hand on his stick."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - March 13th: "Banged up in his final high school game, his highly anticipated return to USHL Sioux Falls has been derailed. Will he be ready in time for the U18 worlds?"

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - March 9th: "The 6-foot-7 forward moves so well for his size, and he has a net-front presence teams will die for. His numbers have been tremendous, scoring at more than a goal-per-game pace and lifting St. Andrew’s up more often than not."

Peter Baracchini - The Hockey Writers - March 7th: "Whether it’s in transition or on the cycle, slowing him down is a tall task. He displays a great amount of skill with the puck and has a lethal shot with a high rate of power. "
