Adam Kleber's Player Profile

Chris Peters - Flo Hockey - June 3rd: "At 6-foot-5 and with above-average mobility for a player of his size, Kleber started putting more of his game together this season including some more offensive capabilities. As a result, his draft stock soared. He finished the year with 26 points and quieted some concerns about his overall puck game."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - June 3: "He’s a towering right-shot D who had a good season in the USHL this year and even showed a little bit of offense. He outlets pucks well. He’ll hold and skate pucks. His offense isn’t natural per se but he puts pucks through and on net."

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - May 28th: "Kleber's offensive play is what has sold me on him. I didn't originally think he was a true puck-mover, and still don't, but he's shown enough sense with the puck this season for me to think he can have an NHL career."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - May 28th: "Kleber is a big 6-foot-5, 209-pound defenseman who doesn’t put a ton of points on the board, but will punish you with his strength and work ethic. Teams like right-shot defenders with his type of profile, especially since he can skate, too."

David Saad - Dobber Prospects - Apr. 20th: "Adam Kleber profiles as yet another one of the big, rangy defensemen in this year’s draft, but he comes with a lot of added benefits. He’s a good skater, has some very surprising small area handling skills, he’s a good breakout passer, remarkably accurate in the offensive zone, and good at defending the rush, and that’s just the start."
