Adam Jecho's Player Profile

Chris Peters - Flo Hockey - June 3rd: "A 6-foot-5 forward with decent hands and some offensive know-how, Jecho is an intriguing prospect. He can also be a bit hard to judge at times because I have concerns about his overall hockey sense and his feet. I’m not sure he processes the game quickly enough and makes plays quickly enough to make up for the lack of pace."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - June 3: "He’s also a fine-to-good skater for his size in straight lines once he gets going. He can shoot and handle the puck with a wrister that comes off quickly. He protects pucks well and will make the odd soft-area play."

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - May 28th: "He tends to fade into the background at times, whether due to a mixture of sense or compete issues — I think it's mostly the former. He's a guy you have to dream on a bit and often frustrates scouts, but his athletic toolkit is hard to find and if he scores enough at higher levels, coaches will play him regularly."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - May 28th: "Jecho is big at 6-foot-5 and 201 pounds, but he’s more than just a hulking body. He’s got a great shot, is hard to beat along the boards and is defensively responsible, too."

Luke Sweeney - Dobber Prospects - Apr. 20th: "Adam Jecho is a tough read. He’s a 6’5 pivot but doesn’t dominate the game in the way you’d like. He has a hard shot that he uses to create quality looks, good puck protection, and a solid transition game for his size, but his lack of vision, dynamism, and ability to create for his teammates severely impacts his offensive ceiling."
