Gabe Perreault's Player Profile

Chris Peters - Flo Hockey - June 7th: "Heís one of the smartest players in the draft, an elite playmaker and while he lacks the size teams covet"

Tony Ferrari - The Hockey News - June 5th: "The NTDP winger is excellent at playing bumper in the neutral zone, making the give-and-go passes or giving his teammates passing outlets. He has some skating issues that will need a fair amount of work, but his intellect makes up for it. He has a great shot, excellent passing habits and good puck skill."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - June 5th: "Heís a clever-beyond-belief, maneuverable facilitator and playmaker who plays the game with a light touch and a heady spatial awareness of not only where his teammates are, but where he is in the flow of play (and relative to defenders)."

Chris Peters - Flo Hockey - June 1st: "His ability to anticipate and read plays, as well as pick apart opposing defenses is a big separator for him. He scored 132 points at the NTDP this season, 15 more points than the previous record-holder for a single season, Auston Matthews."

Corey Pronman - The Athletic - May 30th: "He shows good second effort and can win puck battles at the junior level, although whether he can do that versus men is a concern. His hockey sense is so elite though that I think he can overcome those issues and become a very good top six winger."

Steven Ellis - Daily Faceoff - May 29th: "Perreaultís greatest concern this season was perceived reliance on his teammates to get stuff done. But you donít break the 100-point barrier by accident, especially when so few players have managed to do so."

Jason Bukala - Sportsnet - May 5th: "Fantastic puck touch and deception in tight quarters. Creative player. Easy to identify his upside as an NHL prospect: Top two/leaning top line NHL forward who will have massive impact on the PP. Skating has room to improve, but his mechanics are not poor."
