Cole Perfetti's Player Profile

NHL Central Scouting analysis - NHL.com - Apr. 3rd: "Excellent puck handler and puck skills, vision and execution are on another level. He's elusive and can turn on a dime, evading checks and giving himself time and space to utilize his offensive arsenal. He has incredible hockey IQ and a feel for the game, can slow the play down to his pace, draw the attention of every defender and finds a pass no one else in the arena sees coming."

Cam Robinson - Dobber Prospects - Apr. 1st: "A highly productive pivot who can set it up almost as well as he can finish it himself. Has nice puck skills to go along with high-end intelligence. Lacks the two-step quickness to be considered a locked-in future star, but hes not far off."

Mike G. Morreale - NHL.com - Mar. 20th: "A skilled left-handed shot with high hockey IQ, compete and a great shot. Perfetti was second in the OHL with 111 points (37 goals, 74 assists) in 61 games. He ended the regular season with 26 points during a 12-game point streak (eight goals, 18 assists)."

Mike G. Morreale - NHL.com - Mar. 6th: "A skilled left-hander with high hockey IQ, compete and a great shot, Perfetti ranks second in the OHL with 104 points (36 goals, 68 assists) in 58 games."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - Mar. 4th: "Sixth sense for where, when and how to get to a place to create good scoring opportunities individually or for teammates."

Mike G. Morreale - NHL.com - Feb. 5th: "A skilled left-hander with high hockey IQ, compete and a great shot, Perfetti ranks second in the OHL with 104 points (36 goals, 68 assists) in 58 games."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - Feb. 5th: "reativity and offensive zone awareness complement elite goal-scoring acumen. Post-world junior camp assault on the OHL scoring title continues."

Tony Ferrari - Dobber Prospects - Jan. 29th: "Perfetti, on the other hand, struggled to put the puck in the net initially this season after a Hlinka-Gretzky Cup that saw him tear the world apart with his goal-scoring. Hes rebounded quite nicely in that department though, currently sitting at 24 on the year. Where he has taken his game to the next level is in the playmaking department. "

Will Scouch - Scouching.ca - Nov. 19th: "Perfetti is an unbelievable passer with great hands and a very good release on him, and could be an A-level power play quarterback, but my outlook on him is skeptical at the moment."

Ryan Kennedy - The Hockey News - Nov. 10th: "A dazzling talent with incredible vision and a deadly shot."

Tony Ferrari -Wings Nation - Nov. 4th: "Cole Perfetti isnt the best skater but he has shown improvement over the last year. He is also showing his vision and connecting on passes much more consistently this year. His shot is elite, top-three in the draft class."

Scott Wheeler -The Athletic - Nov. 4th: "Perfetti is the kind of offensive threat that you cant lose sight of for a second. He can score in tight, he can make plays out wide, he can finish off his backhand, hes sturdy and hes a way better passer than hes often given credit."

Chris Peters -ESPN - Oct. 22nd: "Perfetti has a dynamic game. He has an incredible shot, makes great plays with the puck on his stick and can make everyone around him better as an accomplished playmaker."

Corey Pronman -The Athletic - Oct. 15th: "Hes got an elite hockey brain. He can make a lot of plays and has a great shot. Perfetti is not the biggest or quickest, but inside the offensive zone hes very dangerous."
