Antonio Stranges' Player Profile

Will Scouch - Scouching.ca - Nov. 19th: "He's an effective offensive player, but he's nearly invisible defensively at times, and his skating when not 10-2'ing around is... fine? Maybe I need to just watch more, but I have a hard time bumping him into my 1st round."

Tony Ferrari -Wings Nation - Nov. 4th: "One of the best and most unique skaters in the draft, Stranges 10-2 skating style has been divisive in the prospect world. A highly skilled winger with great hands. Good playmaker with a good shot."

Scott Wheeler -The Athletic - Nov. 4th: "Heís got unique skating ability, elite (I hate that word but it applies here) hands and that ďIím going to make something happenĒ attitude that I love in offensive players. But he also regularly leaves me wanting more or wondering if his skill will translate. Sometimes you just have to make the smart play."

Chris Peters -ESPN - Oct. 22nd: "He challenges defenders with that fancy footwork. But he still needs to improve elements of his game away from the puck and in more physical contests, and that makes me wonder about his staying power as a first-round candidate."

Corey Pronman -The Athletic - Oct. 15th: "Stranges is a player who inspires a lot of debate among scouts. He has an elite skill level, and a unique skating stride that some love and some donít. He can dazzle at times, but also had times like this summer where he didnít look the part and was cut from the Hlinka Gretzky team."

Sam Cosentino -Sportsnet - Oct. 2nd: "Following the typical London developmental curve, his offensive side will get unleashed with more top line minutes this season."

Cam Robinson - Dobber Prospects - Sept. 2nd: "A wizard with the puck. The new king of the 10-2 skating style. Will elevate up the lineup in London and the production will spike."

Brock Otten - OHL Prospects - Aug. 29th: "Stranges' hands are so good. He is such a creative offensive player who can make multiple defenders miss on any given shift. He really can keep the puck on a string. Stranges is also an explosive skater who has such power in his stride. He has this 10/2, surfing style skating stride that allows him to cut and change direction so efficiently."
