Scott Mayfield's Player Profile

A monster type D-man who can eat up tons of minutes and plays on the edge.Mayfield has the potential to become a very good two-way d-man who contains a quick first pass and uses his frame to become dangerous on the ice.

His offensive production dropped this year but he became a much better two-way defenseman. Mayfield plays alot like Duncan Siemens in a way, both players can get very nasty.

Watch Mayfield to raise a bit before the draft, expect to be drafted within the top 20 but would be considered a steal if he dropped past 40. His attention is to play at the University of Denver next year, his rights are owned by the Kitchener Rangers.
