David Musil's Player Profile

The son of former NHLer Frantisek Musil, is a good solid defensemen that projects to play in the NHL for a long time, just like his father. While Musil's physical frame is daunting (6'3 200 lbs) , he isn't overly physical, but won't shy away from physical play either, but rather can be counted on to make a safe high percentage play. Musil also delivers the highly coveted good first pass, and skates well for his big size. A good comparable in the NHL right now would be San Jose's Marc Eduard Vlasic.
