Daniel is a smallish player with blazing speed and quick hands. The question is does he have the hockey sense to be a Zach Parise or will he turn out to be a Rico Fata. Likely a 2nd round player who will be an energy player at the next level if he doesn’t develop his hockey sense. Best case is that he develops into a Steve Sullivan or Zach Parise and becomes a top 2 line player.

Daniel is small but he plays bigger than he is. His speed is elite and his hands are very quick. He would have great value in the late first round or early second. He is very strong on his skates and for his size he can and will hit. His determination and willingness to battle and win is something that separates him from others. He is a great two way player that will compete at both ends of the ice. He has the potential to be a top 6 forward.
