Austen Brassard's Player Profile

Austen Brassard started his Ontario Hockey League as a Windsor Spitfire but was traded in a 2010 trade deadline that him to the Belleville Bulls. Austen Brassard is a player that only continue to mood himself into a power forward. He's listed 6'2, and weights 190 pounds, he could be a dangerous player in a few years.

Playing under coach George Burnett, Brassard scored 19 goals in the regular season and also added one goal in the playoffs. Brassard is a big right winger that needs to bulk up before making the jump to the next level of hockey. Expect him to stay in the Ontario Hockey League for at least two more years and might even need year in the American Hockey League before making the NHL.

Brassard plays a smart game and has great vision on the ice. He could be considered a bit of project for the future but that project could be pay big in the upcoming years.

With Brassard's size, he could surprise some and make the jump to the next level within two years depending on what team decides to select him.

Expect to see Brassard's name called anywhere from 50-90 in the upcoming draft.
