Seth Jarvis's Player Profile

Tony Ferrari - Dobber Prospects - Sept. 30th: "The uber skilled winger has incredible creativity and a willingness to try things that most players aren’t. His passing can carve defenses apart and his ability to get into good shooting positions is impressive as an undersized winger."

Scott Wheeler - The Athletic - Sept. 21st: "He’s just flat out dangerous as a puck-carrier, and though I wouldn’t describe him as explosive, he’s light and agile, using his edges to create speed and burn defenders on cuts. Despite being a little on the smaller side, he’s also an active defensive player who uses his three-stride acceleration to win races from a standstill or smartly escape scrums."

Mike Morreale - NHL.com - Aug. 25th: "A smart, skilled right-hand shot who executes with pace and excels as a penalty killer. Jarvis was second in the WHL with 98 points (42 goals, 56 assists) in 58 games."

Adam Kimelman - NHL.com - Aug. 25th: "Jarvis' game is built around his speed and dynamic offensive skills. After a slow start to the season, Jarvis (5-10, 175) was one of the best offensive players in the CHL after the Christmas break with 65 points (28 goals, 37 assists) in 29 games."

Steve Kourmianos - The Draft Analyst - Aug. 10th: "He shredded a tough league like the WHL to a tune of 98 points in only 58 games and was a real leader on Portland. He’s incredibly gifted with the puck but Jarvis also throws his weight around when matched up against bigger defenders."

Chris Peters - ESPN - June 30th: "Quick hands and solid north-south speed contributed to Jarvis improving his WHL scoring total by nearly 60 points over the previous season to finish second overall in the league with 98 points."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - June 25th: "Right shot centre who took off in the second half. Definitely a player who would’ve benefitted from a playoff run on a young team."

Mike G. Morreale - NHL.com - June 22nd: "Scouts have taken notice after a solid offseason of training that enabled Quinn to become more polished and explosive with the puck on his stick. He's versatile enough to play all three forward positions and has the offensive instincts to execute plays."

Mathieu Sheridan - The Hockey Writers - May 11th: "Quinn’s goal scoring abilities is something any franchise would love to have. Playing for the Ottawa 67’s of the OHL, Quinn put up 52 goals in 62 games. He can finish from anywhere."

Sam Cosentino - Sportsnet - Apr. 8th: "Unfazed by the year’s worth of attention, he was able to crack the 50-goal mark, while developing his play away from the puck and utilizing his defensive awareness to round out his game."

Cam Robinson - Dobber Prospects - Apr. 1st: "It’s not too often we see a draft-eligible OHLer pop 50 goals. Quinn did it despite his season-ending abruptly thanks to Covid-19. He accomplished this while playing on a stacked 67s squad, but played his 5v5 minutes away from Rossi."

Mike G. Morreale - NHL.com - Mar. 20th: "Scouts have taken notice after a solid summer of training. He's versatile enough to play all three forward positions and has the offensive instincts to execute plays. He was second in the OHL with 52 goals and tied for eighth with 89 points in 62 games."
