Tom Vannelli's Player Profile

He is a lanky, rangy defenseman with good size who seemed to be all over the ice each game. He knows when to join the rush to create offense and played a very sound defensive game too. Looked like he kicked his game up a notch and let scouts know he is for real. He was steady in making good outlet passes, setting up plays, carries big shot, and very mobile for a big D-man. He is overall a sturdy two-way blue liner.
