Scott Harrington's Player Profile

Scott Harrington is not the flashy players in the draft but he gets the job done extremely well. The smooth skating defenseman was one of few bright spots on the London Knights this year. As London started to trade a lot of their veteran players away, Harrington's ice increased, he only got better as the season rolled on.

When Harrington was drafted by London in the Ontario Hockey League draft, he was considered as a steal. He came into London with a lot of expectations and has a done great job to prove his worthy selection.

Harrington is a defenseman who will not make a lot of mistakes and has great vision on the ice. He's a "steady eddy" type defenseman who skates extremely well. Harrington can quarterback a powerplay and also be one of the best penalty killers. Harrington needs to continue to bulk up as he continues to develop.

Harrington has developed into a very smooth puck moving defenseman. Harrington had a very good Under 18 championships with Canada, where he logged lots of ice in all situations.

Any team that selects Harrington will know that their prospect will be going back to one of the best junior coaches in Dale Hunter. Harrington will only continue to get better under hunter and his staff.

Harrington's draft status could be rising in the upcoming weeks, expect to see Harrington named called anywhere from 40-60. If Harrington drops to the third round, he could become one of the best steals of this draft.
