Pitlick’s forte is playing a gritty game, going into the corners and winning one-on-one battles. Uses his big frame and wide base to protect the puck, has good hands and quality shot. Good skater, not blazing fast but has great balance. Does not have any skills that will knock you out of your seat, but he is a reliable player that will be a solid contributor in the NHL. Tyler is a nephew of former NHL player Lance Pitlick.
