Odds of Winning the 2008 NHL Amateur Draft Lottery

The Draft Drawing for the 2008 NHL Amateur Entry Draft will be held Monday April 7th at 8:00 EST. It will be aired on TV on TSN in Canada and Versus in the US, as well as the NHL Network and NHL.com. At this time the Draft Order will be set, and those teams who did not make the playoffs will find out if they have moved up or down in the order.

Teams can only move up 4 spots maximum (ie. only the top 5 teams have a shot at winning the lottery) and drop no more than 1 spot. So whoever finishes last has a 48.2% off winning the draft lotter

18.8% - Los Angeles Kings
14.2% - Atlanta Thrashers
10.7% - St. Louis Blues
8.1% - New York Islanders
6.2% - Columbus Blue Jackets
4.7% - Toronto Maple Leafs
3.6% - Phoenix Coyotes
2.7% - Nashville Predators (via Fla.)
2.1% - Vancouver Canucks
1.5% - Chicago Blackhawks
1.1% - Anaheim Ducks (via Ed.)
0.8% - Buffalo Sabres
0.5% - Carolina Hurricanes
